For the most part, handcrafted clothing should not be placed in the dryer. You must lay the item on the ground, or leave it flat until it dries. If you plan to store your clothing, wrap the item in an acid free tissue and then store it in tube containers. Avoid placing these containers in the basement or the attic, so as to avoid heat or humidity. If you plan on storing these items for a longer period of time, then you must check for mildew or bugs periodically.
